Are you thinking about Christmas?

Wow, this past week has been absolutely crazy, and not in a good way. I have had a string of bad days, and its been an adjustment getting into gear with our new fall schedule--2 out of 3 boys are playing baseball this fall, and we have practice/games 4 days a week, which is a big change to our routine. Following a holiday weekend and a birthday here, I have been struggling to get back on top of everything & into a groove. Hoping to feel more accomplished by the end of this week! I typically do all of my own Christmas shopping in Sept and early October, so that I can focus on orders during my busiest season of the year...I am lagging behind this year! I also like to debut holiday cards around the end of the month but I think I will be a tad later this time. I feel like I have been on a hamster wheel, spinning around, since school started here! I did list a few holiday stationery items. I am really liking these new gift tags, which I have a feeling will be adorning our packages this year!

Time to order your Easter cards!

As he was loading up to go to school this morning, my oldest son said, "I wonder what you are going to get me for Easter?" This set off a bit of panic as I scrambled to think how long I had until Easter...it always seems to sneak up on me anymore! I know the stores have had Easter goodies lining the aisles, & I have been working on Easter samples, but have not given any thought to the Easter bunny yet!

Custom Photo Easter Bunny Card Invitation

Wow, has it been a busy week! Aside from orders, celebrating my 6 y/o's birthday & party this weekend, plus appointments, meetings, etc.

Here is a recent custom design...the customer was looking for a spring/Easter themed bunny invitation to celebrate her daughter's first birthday. This can easily be adapted as a simple easter card, or the bunny can be omitted for a fun, pastel invitation without the theme.

Busy Schedule this Week, New Designs Added... Cutie Pies Custom Creations Photo Cards & Stationery

This week is going to be really busy in the Cutie Pies house! Tomorrow morning I will be out for my weekly volunteer day at my oldest son's school. We have several appointments this week, I am working on tax stuff, and also planning my oldest son's birthday party, plus my middle son has a playdate on friday! Whew, I am exhausted just thinking about all there is to do. I prefer my weeks a little less jam packed. Oh, and can't forget the possibility of snow/icy weather thrown in a few times over the next few days that could throw kinks in these scheduled events.

(In conclusion, please bear with me if I take a little longer responding to emails/questions/orders!)

Today marked the day I started using my brand new packaging. It's top secret right now, but I can promise its super cute, and adds such a nice touch to your precious photo cards. One of the many little changes being made right now behind the scenes!

I finally got some of my newer wedding invitation designs added. Still more to come when I have time!

Custom Photo Valentines... Cutie Pies Custom Creations Stationery & Photo Cards

Happy Friday!! Still adding a few more new Valentine designs. I need to get on the ball myself...have not taken photos of the boys yet or started on their cards. Here is a fun design--this color combo is great for boys or girls (and colors can be customized). It can be hard to create designs for Vday that aren't too girly! I think I might use this one for some of my sons' valentines this year. This design would look great on cardstock paper. I am thinking of adapting it to a mini card for my kids, because my middle son will have 50 valentines to give out at preschool. Any of the current Valentine designs can be adapted from a regular card to the mini cards, and vice versa.

Sick! Ughhh...

Whew what a difference a day makes. Yesterday was a good day---the older boys were off school so we spent the day wrapped up in the history making inauguration activities. My youngest son, as I have mentioned in previous posts has been sick since last weekend...started with a severe congestion/stuffiness/cold type thing, then Monday he got sick with stomach bug symptoms...my oldest son was sick 2 weeks ago with the nasty stomach virus, and I thought SOMEHOW the rest of us managed to escape it. Oh so wrong!!! Why would I think I could possibly be that "lucky?" Yesterday evening my little guy developed a new symptom (liquid, rancid poo that is characteristic of this virus, and then within hours of each other, my remaining son, my husband, and myself all got hit with the stomach bug too! Today was awful with 4 out of 5 in the family sick and my youngest only wanted mommy. Thank goodness we are fortunate enough to have family nearby and the boys grandmothers each took a shift today.

Soooo, needless to say, I did not get to work on orders today, and in fact only just now fired up the laptop so I could check emails from the comfort of my bed. I hope tomorrow brings relief and HEALTH and that I will be back to work, playing catch up!

Now that I have caught up on emails, I am hoping to settle into bed and have a peaceful night of rest.

In between site maintenance, orders, and the busy days here at home, I have been working on getting some new Valentine designs added to the site. I still have a few more stewing in my head that I need to get made up and added, but I feel like there is a nice selection to get you started! Take a peek!
