New Circle Shape

This year, my oldest son said NO PICS on his valentines. This is what I designed—he loves the Celtics!  This is the new LUXE cardstock in the diecut circle with regular edges.

Adorable Little Valentine…& new scalloped square shape!

How adorable is this little valentine? (He’s mine! ♥ ) The card is cute too…;)

This is one of the new diecut shaped cards available. This one is the 5x5 scalloped square. The edging to these gorgeous cards give your design such a luxe feel.  Shown here with linen finish.

You may modify any card design or background/color combo/theme to use as a die cut card for any occasion. I will be posting pics of the regular circle and the ornate cut soon too.

Happy Valentine's Day!

Showcasing my 3 handsome little men... ♥ these guys! Here are their 2010 valentines.

Hayden's valentines are photo bookmarks printing on linen cardstock with the rounded corner option. Such a fun, yet functional idea for valentines!

Cooper's valentines are doublesided flat cardstock, also in the linen cardstock and with the rounded corner option. Cardstock makes it simple to personalize as they can easily write names on these.

Parker's valentines are printed on traditional photo paper.

All 3 of the boys valentine's celebrations have been postponed due to snow days, so they will be passing theirs out this week.

Hope you have a super sweet Valentine's weekend! If you'd like to shop for some sweet items, use code FEB14 for 14% off any order until Monday morning.

More Valentines

We just battled another stomach bug here--we had a stomach bug come through in November, which was followed shortly after with bad colds (which for me meant a sinus infection of course!), and now we have spend the last 2 weeks cycling through another stomach bug, ugh! I hope this is not an indicator that 2010 is going to be one of those bad years at our house where we get sick a lot!

Now is the time to get your valentine orders in! (I had planned to have my done by now but this is yet another thing the sick-bug delayed, arghh!)

Last week, I shared photo bookmarks that make great valentines--I am planning to use them for my oldest son this year. I also offer traditional photo card valentines, which are available in cardstock or photo paper. Last year, I used cardstock for ours so that the boys could write on the cards. If you do not plan to write on them, you can also order the regular photo paper cards.

I also offer postcard valentines, which are printed on a thin white cardstock and you will find many designs to choose from.

And of course, I can create seals or labels to go with your valentines.

Photo Bookmark Valentines

Photo bookmarks make unique valentines, and they make wonderful keepsakes that family and friends will reuse over and over! Bookmarks are available in just about any design---I will be adding several specific Valentine bookmark designs, but can modify any other valentine card, or a photo card for another occasion, to create a custom bookmark. Non-Valentine bookmarks are also available, as these can be used year round. They make a great party favor, thank you, etc.

Sharing a valentine smile

These were simply too cute not to share! Today was my middle son's Valentine party at preschool. So, last night, we got all of his Valentines packaged up & ready to go. They requested no names on the envelopes for the kids (easier for distributing to 50 other kids) but he wrote the names on the the outside for his teachers. I had planned to write their names down and have him copy them but he wanted to spell them all by himself, and decorate them as well. He is 4 and wants to do everything his bigger brother does...and he happened to be addressing all of his Valentines for his first grade classmates. I got such a kick out of these I had to snap a pic to remember them! My favorite is on the bottom left. His teacher's name is Miss Susan. (aka Mes SOOSEN!)

Candy Cane Heart Lollys

This afternoon, after school, I did a spur of the moment photo session with the big boys. I just loaded the pics before dinner, and when I get them to bed I will be going thru to see if I have any keepers for their Valentine cards. I hope so!

I came across these cute homemade heart lollys made from candy canes last week, and as we have some leftovers from Christmas, I am going to make these as a fun Valentine activity with the boys this weekend or next week. I think they would be super cute for pictures too, but I don't think we will be able to make them in time to get pics and make Valentines too.

Valentine Sneak Peak! Cutie Pies Custom Creations Photo Cards & Stationery

With the big boys both in school this morning, and the sun sorta out (as much as it has been for the past snowy/yucky/wintery weather week) PLUS me realizing in a panic that I really need to get my own kid's valentines made (EEK!) I decided my youngest would have his photo session this morning. I never have very high hopes for our photo sessions...planned picture taking does not usually go over well in this house, so I am pleasantly surprised when I produce a winner! Parker was only a semi-willing participant today. I got about 20 or so shots before he told me he was done and climbed down off the bed. I may try again, though his Valentines really are only for family--its his big brothers that will hand theirs out at school, so I may just accept what I got. I edited my favorite shot & whipped up 2 different Valentines. One is the same design I posted the other day, and the other is a slightly customized version of this design on my site. I like the picture, though I would have been happier had I been able to get a smile in the pic rather than this lolly in his mouth. Ah well. One down, 2 to go!

Custom Photo Valentines... Cutie Pies Custom Creations Stationery & Photo Cards

Happy Friday!! Still adding a few more new Valentine designs. I need to get on the ball myself...have not taken photos of the boys yet or started on their cards. Here is a fun design--this color combo is great for boys or girls (and colors can be customized). It can be hard to create designs for Vday that aren't too girly! I think I might use this one for some of my sons' valentines this year. This design would look great on cardstock paper. I am thinking of adapting it to a mini card for my kids, because my middle son will have 50 valentines to give out at preschool. Any of the current Valentine designs can be adapted from a regular card to the mini cards, and vice versa.

New Photo Valentine Designs...Cutie Pies Custom Creations photo cards & Stationery

It has been such a busy week here! My poor little 2 yr old has been sick all weekend with a nasty cold and fever and he has been a cling-on. Poor guy is terribly congested! It seems like someone in our house has been sick at all times over the last few months.

There are more new Valentine designs now listed on the website. Its no secret that I love pink & brown and what great colors for Valentine's Day! (Ok, I like to use pink & brown for any occasion, LOL...I even recently redid my downstairs bathroom in pink and brown! I think it has something to do with living in a house full of males :)

Here are a few of my favorite recent additions for Vday...

Start thinking about Valentine's Day! Custom Photo Cards & Stationery Designs

In between site maintenance, orders, and the busy days here at home, I have been working on getting some new Valentine designs added to the site. I still have a few more stewing in my head that I need to get made up and added, but I feel like there is a nice selection to get you started! Take a peek!

As always if you have any particular color scheme, or theme, etc, you would be interested in seeing in a card, send me an email or leave a comment on my blog with your idea. I love to get input from customers to hear what they would like to see on my site.
